Reeds

Loom manufacturers set strict tolerances for reeds.  You can be confident Palmetto Loom Reed Company adheres to these tolerances at all levels of loom reed manufacturing.

Airjet reeds are made with AISI 301 SS and AISI 420 SS material.  Insertions with a bi-cone formation are available along with DLC chrome and alternate superior coatings for wear resistance.

Flat reeds are available for projectile, rapier, shuttle and waterjet machines. DLC chrome and alternate superior coatings are available for wear resistance.

Palmetto Loom also makes a multiaxial weft reed.
