Today, more than 800 units are operating worldwide. After dyeing, the bobbins are centrifuged and loaded onto a conveyor belt for drying with the following advantages:
- reduction of 50% in the overall cost of drying
- uniform moisture within 1%
- elimination of overheating
- elimination of the migration of dyes (certain limitations with unfixed direct dyes)
- reduction in drying time (a few tens of minutes against several hours)
- no problems with bobbin winding density: possibility of using bobbins with a high winding density; only possible method for drying large bobbins which are tightly wound
- consistent and repeatable drying
