Production control and image sensor management system for small warping machines, quilting machines, etc.
The SMART 248 TW is a new yarn control system for advanced production control for small warping and quilting machines.
The SELF-LEARN system monitors the yarn quantity and sequence pick up of the knitting machine, indicating any type of error checked during production (broken or missing yarns, uncut or wrong sliding yarns, wrong threading or wrong picking up errors).
The SMART 248 TW combined with yarn control sensors IS3W/HS and IS3N/HS (Smart Scanning Sensors) creates a full machine control system.
The IS3W/HS and IS3N/HS are electronic yarn sensors used to detect, using a sophisticated and patented control technique, the image variation of a moving yarn indicating with absolute certainty the actual movement or stop status of the yarn. Thanks to image variation technique, ambient yarn conditions like humidity, conductivity and machine vibrations cannot influence IS3W/HS and IS3N/HS sensors. Furthermore, the image variation technique requires no contact with the yarn and allows perfect monitoring without affecting the characteristics (e.g. tension) of the yarns. The IS3W/HS and IS3N/HS sensors are full programmable for easy adapting to control any kind of yarn applications, with important boundary programmable functions, like parameters of control, sensor sensitivity and delay time. Because of an innovative sensors' management system (Smart Scanning Sensors), the SMART 248 TW does not need complex wire assembly and installation, and it can control up to 248 strands of yarn.
