The low surface to volume ratio of tops makes it inefficient to dry them using conventional drying, after they have been dyed.
The TDWV is a new generation of dryers with water cooled generator combined with vacuum during the drying process and allowing the following advantages:
- very low temperature inside drying chamber ( max 60°C )
- better final quality of the fibres
- better handling
- uniform drying
- uniform moisture content within 1%
- constancy and possibility to repeat drying level
